Slow FolK
Slow Folk is a neighbourhood bathhouse for Brunswick locals to unwind. A shared sauna, cold bath and a quiet place to rest, designed to feel welcoming whether you are new to sauna or returning to a growing ritual.
Opening Winter 2026
MON-SUN 6.30am-11pm
Level 1, 101/217 Albion Street, Brunswick.(Nightingale Wurru Wurru Biik)

Space to return to regularly and shared with people who value the same things: warmth, balance and calm connection.
Traditional Sauna
A large, traditional sauna built for shared use. Kept between 85-95°C, it sits at the centre of the space and gives everyone room to settle into the heat in comfort.
Cold Bath
A purpose-built cold bath inspired by Japanese sentō design. Set between 12-15°C, it pairs perfectly with the heat.
Space to Rest
Soft light, simple seating and natural materials for a gentle pause, rehydrate and reconnect with yourself or others between rounds.

Self-guided, relaxed and free of fuss. Tap to check in, move at your own pace and follow your own rhythm of heat, cold and rest. Hosts are on hand during busier periods to offer support and make sure everything flows smoothly.
Each month, you will find a mix of guided sauna with calm, ritual-led heat and aroma waves, gendered sessions, LGBTQIA+ windows, family sessions (with kids welcome), and quieter sessions where silence is observed.
Our Pricing
Pricing changes with real-time occupancy and often begins at $28. Sessions run for 60 minutes, with time to change in and out. Shareable packs offer a fixed entry price for any day, any time.
What to Bring
Bathers, a water bottle and two towels – one for sitting in the sauna and one for drying off. Towel and robe hire available.

We acknowledge the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri/Woiwurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders both past and present, and recognise and respect their abiding connection to this land, its waterways and culture.
